Lake Mburo is Uganda’s smallest savannah park (370 km²) but its most accessible - just a 4-hour drive from Kampala on the way to Bwindi or the southwest.
The park is the only place in Uganda where you can see plains zebras, impalas, and eland. Its rolling acacia-savannah, five small lakes, and absence of elephants and lions make it ideal for walking safaris and horseback riding - uncommon experiences in East African parks.
