Chobe National Park is famous for its colossal elephant population - estimated at over 120,000, the largest concentration on Earth. The Chobe Riverfront, particularly at Serondela, hosts staggering wildlife densities in the dry season.
River cruises on the Chobe at sunset, with elephants drinking metres from the boat and pods of 50+ hippos, are one of Africa’s most reliable wildlife experiences. The park also covers the remote Savuti Marsh and Linyanti wetlands further south.
