Sipi Falls is a chain of three spectacular waterfalls in eastern Uganda, plunging from the basalt cliffs of Mount Elgon. The tallest of the three drops 99 metres into a misty pool below.
The surrounding Bugisu region is famous for shade-grown Arabica coffee, and most visitors combine the falls with a coffee tour from bean to cup. Hiking, abseiling, and rock climbing are popular here.
