The Okavango Delta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few inland deltas in the world that doesn’t flow to the sea. The Okavango River fans out across 15,000 km² of the Kalahari, creating a maze of waterways, islands, and floodplains that pulse with life.
Wildlife densities are exceptional — elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, hippos, and over 480 bird species. The delta is best explored by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) and small bush plane, in some of Africa’s most luxurious eco-camps.
