Queen Elizabeth National Park sits in the Albertine Rift Valley between Lakes Edward and George, offering an extraordinary range of habitats - savannah, wetlands, forest, and crater lakes - across 1,978 km².
The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the southern Ishasha sector, the bird-rich Kazinga Channel that connects the two lakes, and the Kyambura Gorge where chimpanzees can be tracked through a remnant rainforest.
With 95 mammal species and 600+ bird species, it’s one of the most ecologically diverse parks in Africa.
