Victoria Falls — known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, "the smoke that thunders" — is 1,708 metres wide and falls 108 metres into the Zambezi gorge. The Zambian side offers the most adventurous activities: Devil’s Pool (a natural infinity pool right at the lip of the falls), microlight flights, and white-water rafting through the gorges.
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park surrounds the falls and hosts white rhinos, elephants, and zebras — making it possible to combine a wonder of the world with a brief safari.

Devil’s Pool — swim at the lip of the falls (Aug–Jan only)
Microlight flight over the falls
White-water rafting in the Zambezi gorge
Sunset cruise above the falls
